Following last year’s successful participation, Mojácar Council has launched a new free outdoor activity programme, which will be held every weekend until May 2025, under the slogan “Your best time is to experience it in winter”. This initiative invites locals and tourists to make the most of the mild winter climate in Mojácar, with options for all ages with different activities.
The programme includes hiking routes, which will take place every weekend and require registration, yoga sessions next to the sea, open to the public without the need to book, and spaces for fun on skates aimed mainly at children.
Every weekend, participants will be able to explore Mojácar’s impressive landscapes through guided hiking routes. Those interested can register by calling 950 615 025 before 11am every Friday. These walks are designed for enjoying the natural environment, with guides who provide information about the flora, fauna and local history.
For those looking for a relaxing experience, yoga sessions will be held on the beach without the need to reserve. This space offers a unique connection with the natural environment, allowing you to enjoy the tranquillity and well-being provided by the sound of the sea.
Children will also have their space with skating sessions in areas set up for enjoying a fun and active activity, ideal for families looking to spend time outdoors in a fun way.
Tourism Councillor María Gracia Alarcón emphasized: “We want everyone to discover Mojácar in winter. It is a perfect time to enjoy nature, sport and relaxation.”
Mayor Francisco García commented: “With this free offer we want to promote active tourism, while contributing to the well-being of our residents, providing them with opportunities to enjoy our unique environment throughout the year.”
